Ammonite Owl

Here is a curious owl! Her eyes are made of fossilised ammonites.

I selected the most striking pattern in brown glass for her body, and a nice deep orange for her beak and claws.

Her claws are assembled over the metal ring, to enhance the feeling that she's really perched here.

The piece is assembled inside a large metal ring, giving it extra strength and stability. 

Unique piece! I made only one, there is no other like this in the world.
